Makoto Yamaguchi is by far my favourite architect. I want to design pieces that fit into his spaces. He’s been in tons of books and magazines. People understand his work. That makes a huge difference in architecture and art. “To really understand architecture you may even have to commit a murder.” Bernard Tschumi said that but with Makoto Yamaguchi that’s not true. Check out Makoto Yamaguchi’s site !
Hello, your brother has been bragging about you. If you are looking for inspiration – other than architecture – have you considered looking at the Group Of Seven and redoing (in your unique style) any of their art? Imagine after seeing their work, transposing into your style and having a showing in Banff or Jasper. I will check your link occasionally, for if I didn’t your brother would thump me! All the best.
